We have just returned home from the most relaxing amazing holiday. The welcome we received upon arrival from Mary & Dimitris made us feel like old friends returning and we were treated as such for 3 glorious weeks. We could not find any faults during our stay. Accommodation great,
Food great,
Hospitality great,
Most of all I would like to thank our personal butler Dimitris lol

I loved everything about this place. The setting is just stunning. The place is so beautiful. My family fell in love with it and our children adored it. But the best thing about it is the people. They are so caring and so friendly, it made our holiday. We are going back next year. Booked up!

We have recently returned from our 3rd visit to Zante and 2nd visit to Archontiko Maisonettes. This is a hidden gem. lovely surroundings spent with a Greek family who give you hospitality as if you were a family member. Mary works so hard in making you comfortable, Dimitris is a great bloke and my daughter thinks he makes the best milkshakes she has ever tasted including our recent trip to Florida!
The pool is very well maintaining and always a lovely temperature never overcrowded and we have had the choice of 4 sun beds each some days, so none of that silly towel game played by holiday makers. The Maisonettes are very authentic and beautifully designed. They are kept clean at all times by the lovely hard working Dinah. I notice the recent review about dirty floors etc. However, this is Greece and I go here for a rustic, quiet family holiday full of total relaxation and Greek traditions. That is what is on offer here. I go on many holidays around the world and stay in many hotels. I have never know anywhere that takes away washing for you and does it for free.
The bar is small but adequate and you are never overcharged. In fact we often feel undercharged! (I hope you don’t read this Dimitris) The menu is limited with some fried food on it however, there are many other choices amazing Salads etc, and Dimitris will knock up any Pizza you want. Mary will cook specials every night. If she knows you are eating at the bar she goes out to get something special. She fetched us some amazing Greek fish and cooked it beautifully for us. We were not the only family she did this for. She also gave everyone cakes on her Birthday. A lovely lady. The first time we went we hired bicycles, which was extremely challenging. This time we gave in and had a car, as it is a fair walk to the main strip. But that is the price you pay for peace and quiet. There is a main road close by but you can’t hear it due to the cockerels and cicadas. We have already booked the flights for next summer and we can’t wait. We are going back!

We are unfortunately just finishing our stay here. We have loved every minute, and have actually found it difficult to tear ourselves away from Mary and Dimitris’s hospitality to go out and see anything else!..Mary’s cooking and Dimitris’s milkshakes are addictive!…If you are looking for a traditional Greek atmosphere with wonderful facilities and hospitality – don’t bother looking anywhere else. Stay here and you won’t regret it.
