History

"Archontiko" is the only authentic, traditional tourist unit in Zakynthos, consisting of reconstructed buildings from the late 19th century that have been declared by the Greek Ministry of Culture, as monuments. It was the estate of an aristocratic family, registered since 1510 in the "Libro d 'Oro" (Golden Book of Zakynthos Nobles, during the Venetian period 1485 to 1797).

We, their descendants, reconstructed the "Archontiko", with all the modern comforts and commodities, but at the same time, a lot of respect for tradition and the old atmosphere, in a romantic, peaceful and relaxing holiday unit, where tradition lovers will find endless warm and friendly hospitality.
